Thus says God, the Lord, who created the heavens and stretched them out, who spreads out the earth with its crops, Who gives breath to his people and spirit to those who walk on it. I the Lord, have called you for the victory of justice, I have grasped you by the hand; I formed you, and set you people as a covenant of the people, a light for the nations. –Isaiah 42:5-6

Strings of diamonds

Booms of illumination
A beam from the sky

What first gave us light
Now gives us joy

A flash during darkness
To bring us the hope
To outline the heavens
To shake the sky

It can be soft
It can be hard
It can bring hope
It can bring sorrow
It can be radiant
It can be gentle
It can be graceful
It can be awful

It will always bring beauty
It will always show light
It will always try to bring daylight
It will always be a light
It will always glow
It will always be illuminate
And it shall always be beautiful
